I wish you all the best of luck with the trailer. It was well done, informative and kept my attention the whole time. I applaud you for taking on this topic. It illustrates that the U.S. is scarily behind the times with sexuality and expression. Once again, very well done!

Have any of you ever thought about some of the stereotypes associated with a persons occupation and how much sex they have? Obviously, everyone in every occupation (almost) has sex. It seems to me that people who are in the arts (especially music and theater) are very promiscuous. Any thoughts on why, or any ideas on a correlation between occupation and sex?

So my bf and i were chatting and he mentioned what went on at some stag parties (which I had no idea..i thought it was just girls stripping and thats it....boy was i wrong with some i had no idea that its basically like real life porn that goes on....).... so my question to him was...why is it ok or acceptable for guys to touch a girls boob or get a lap dance or feel a girl up at a stag party or even a strip bar and its not ok or acceptable or its considered cheating if you do those same things at a bar? To me...i feel its wrong no matter what...what do you think?

| jagur | Has technology made us more sexually liberal? | 5 | Aug 21 2008, 8:22 PM EDT by inTEGra95 | ||||

This crossed my mind today. With all the newest technology at our fingertips, how has it affected our sexual views? Today, we can browse the internet and see/read anything on all sexual topics/fetishes.
But it goes far beyond simply being a voyeur these days. You can interact. Now we can exchange our sexual views on a forum like this, have cybersex, exchange photos, and perform sexual acts via webcam. Personally, I cannot say technology has "made" me and my wife more sexually liberal (we were already there!). But it has confirmed that we are not complete freaks... and opened our eyes to new ideas to bring into the bedroom. ;)

In light of the recent developments with Senator John Edward's extramarital affair, I am curious to get opinions on your thoughts about sex and politics. Should this really matter when it comes to electability? Many past public figures have had affairs in the past. Some were sweeped under the rug and some were dragged through the public forum like a circus, ie.. impeachment of President Clinton for his tryst with Monica!
Here is my question. Should what our elected officials do in their private sex lives make a difference to us when it comes to their job of serving the people? Are these smoke screens of distraction by opposing parties, or do we as a society really have the right to know?

My teenage daughter overheard two women talking about how their sex lives in their second marriages were so much more satisfying than in their first marriages. She had lots of questions, as you might guess. I might leave it at that, but a single male friend of mine (in his mid thirties) asked me - around the same time as my daughter - about the same phenomenon (he's afraid to get married now, thinking that will be the death knell of an active sex life). So what gives? Is this a common occurrence or what? Do divorced and remarried women have all the fun? Is it related to age or is it relational?

Does anyone have much experience with nudists/naturists? I was reading an article about a beach in Vancouver that is trying to seek protection from the UN. The beach is known for nudists, and has been since the 70s, I think. There have been constant battles to "save" this beach from developers, and the expansion of the University of British Columbia, which is right there. Apparently, there is a "sister" beach in California that has undergone some of the same difficulties. I know that there is a lot more to being a nudist than just being nude, but I don't know what all of those things are. Is there a difference between a nudist and a naturist?

We did a lot of research on this topic and found that the French teach their children early on about the topic of sex and sexuality. This results in low pregnancy rates as well as a later age in first sex experiences. Our visit to ZiZi Sexual was a great eye opener to how this knowledge is shared with young Parisians! Tell us your opinion on this hot button topic.

In doing some research for the show, the producers have run across a couple of interesting fetishes that people get into. One of them is Furries, people who dress up as animal characters to interact and have sex. There is a huge Euro Convention that will be happening in August in Germany for Furries. Check out the website:
http://www.eurofurence.org/EF14/cont-main.html I'm interested to see what other fetishes you guys know about and if anyone is involved in any they would like to discuss!

Any of us that have children, or experience with small children, know about the stage where their hands find their way south. Is this something that should be addressed? Ignored? Would you address a girl differently than a boy? How do you say "don't do that" without giving the "dirty" connotation? In this same thought, are there any dangers for young children who prefer not to wear underwear? For some reason, going down the slide at the playground in a skirt with no panties doesn't seem right to me.

Has anyone engaged in multi-partner relationships?
Dr J, is there any research to suggest this is positive/negative in a relationship?
