Jason Vaughn

Atlanta native Jason Vaughn made his professional debut in 1996 in the premiere run of 'Trinity' at the 14th Street Playhouse in Atlanta, Georgia. Since that time Jason has had the pleasure of walking the boards of numerous stages all along the east coast. As a testament to his love for classical works, Jason's stage resume reads like a list of the Bard's greatest hits. Some of his more memorable roles include a few of Shakespeare's most notorious characters such as Bottom, Petruchio, Don John, and Caliban. Last summer Jason reprised his role of Don Pedro in 'Much Ado About Nothing' at the Gardner Stages in Hollywood.

"Jason Vaughn as a rather young Don Pedro brings a sense of regal dignity to the proceedings"

-Dave Depino, Backstage West.

A few of Jason's favorite modern credits include Picasso in 'Picasso at the Lapin Agile' (set in the famous Parisian cabaret The Lapin Agile), Shep in 'Bell, Book, and Candle', and most recently this past fall as Jim in 'The Glass Menagerie' at the Renaissance Theatre in Los Angeles.

In 2006 Jason teamed up with writing partner Angie Riemersma to create Todash Productions based out of California. Last October Todash, along with Red Pill Productions and Neverending Light Productions, traveled to Paris to shoot the pilot for 'Sex Culture.' Currently, Todash has several scripts in different stages of development. Next summer you can catch Jason starring in Altermotion Pictures 'You Could Be Happy', and appearing in J.J. Abrams' new vision of 'Star Trek'. Sadly we must now come to the end of this bio, as Jason is kind of sick of talking about Jason in the third person, so I believe Jason is finished. Thank you all for watching 'Sex Culture', and keep checking back; there is a lot more to come!!
